Savage Marine Lighting, has always been on the forefront of product development and innovation. The last couple of years has seen the introduction of the 10w single spot LED into their standard downlight range. The 10w LED fitting, which is the LED alternative for 20w halogen fittings, has caused a huge amount of excitement within in the Industry and has won Savage Marine the Business Innovation award 2009 at the Regional Business of the Year awards. Savage Marine then went on to win the overall business of the Year Award 2009. The awards recognised exemplary solutions for their customers during the past 3 years. They also recognised the outstanding achievement in business development of the company. Award winners were chosen from a group of finalists from around the region. Winners were announced at the awards dinner, held on 24th September 2009,
The Business Award winners were honored in the following categories, each of which represents a particular business practice. Winners were selected for Product Innovation Award, New Business award, Customer Focus award, Employer award and a Community Support Award. The winner from each category was then put through for the overall Business of the year award, of which Savage Marine, was announced as the overall winner!
